  • Valid ECOWAS Passport valid for at least 6 months from checkout.
  • Personal 3-Month bank statement (savings). All the statement pages must be Signed and Stamped.
  • Introduction Letter: Letter from local company/employer, professional documents, business documents, national ID and work ID
  • You will present a separate letter giving full details of previous visits to India (if applicable), including the period of stay.
  • Besides the above letter, you need a separate letter detailing your present occupation and detailed purpose of your intended visit to India
  • Present 2 current colour Passport Photograph with white background
  • You must provide an Invitation Letter from India with a copy of Indian passport or Pan Card, if business.
  • Confirmed Hotel and flight reservations.
  • Your detailed CV / Biodata
  • Please bear in mind that you must provide Yellow Fever (vaccination card) to visit India
  • If someone else bank-statement is presented, please enclose the affidavit of the person sponsoring the expenses along with the copy of the photo identity card bearing the signature of the sponsor.
  • You must provide business registration document (CAC) for Individual or/and corporate organisation, and Tax Clearance in Original as well as photocopy for self-employed.
  • Proof of permanent and present address (Nigeria National ID, INEC card, rent agreement, electricity bills etc.)
  • If you are going for a business visit, Invitation from the Indian host (along with a copy of inbox email print out showing that it was copied to HCI); (with contact details present and permanent address, mobile number and email ID)
  • Copies of PAN/AADHAR/Election ID cards of Indian host
  • Invitation Letter for business or conference should also be sent to India High Commission via email.
