UK Visa Requirements For Nigerian Citizens
- Filled out and signed United Kingdom tourist visa application form (DOWNLOAD PDF)
- Original Nigerian International Passport (Valid for at least 6 months of remaining validity and two consecutive bank pages)
- 2 recent Passport Photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. These passport photographs must meet the requirements
- Visa application form. Visa application form filled out in detail(block letters) and signed by the applicant.
- Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary.
- Property papers. Property papers if possible
- Bank Statement. Copies of bank statements from the past 3 months singed by the bank.
- Employment Letter. A letter from your employer/school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.
- Hotel Reservations. Copy of the Hotel Reservations made by you.
- Personal Invitation
- A letter of invitation if you are being sponsored by a friend or family member
- Original marriage certificate if you are traveling with your spouse
- Birth certificates if you are single or for your children if you are traveling together
- Recent utility bills
UK Visa Application Processing Time
The type of visa determines the processing time. However, generally, it takes about 3 to 5 working days, and some times 15 days to 90 days to process the visa.
